Biography

For as long as I can remember I've always had a camera in my hand since the age of 18. Whether it be Polaroid instant cameras, Point and shoot disposables, or even as early as the Sony Ericsson K800 I bought myself when I was able to buy myself my own mobile phone.

Hi, I'm Jason. Photography and media have always been a passion of mine, even before I left high school. Unfortunately a working class childhood sent me down a career of retail as I opted to go straight into the workforce at 16 and keep photography and writing a side-line hobby when I had time.

In 2007 my health took a nosedive, and although not considered a serious condition, It was life changing and after a decade of battling with physical and mental health I found a glimmer of light, after my health recovered I was diagnosed with arthritis and still struggling to walk, I picked up my first DSLR; a Canon 1000D. It was now that I began my own therapy, motivating myself to walk and push myself, I went from standing up for 5-10 minutes, to walking 100 miles in a month, and it was then I decided to take my passion and hobby, and set the wheels in motion to start my own business.

Fast forward to September 2021 and with a Canon 70D I had officially started trading and trying to find a customer base, all while doing free and voluntary events to get my name a little more known in the local area.
